INTUMESCENT SPRAY

A solvent or water based coating that can be applied by brush, roller or spray to provide up to 2 hour fire protection for structual steel. In the event of fire the coating expands between 1-2mm up to 100mm by a series of chemical reactions triggered by the heat of the fire, this process will not start untill around 220 C.
